So, last week marked the first ever "Jod's Ultimate Fighting Championship" and, while fighting in and of itself isn't notable, being able to go head to head against ALL of your guildies and smash face is *definitely* notable. Around twenty of us took part in a last-man-standing brawl, and then broke off into teams for more PVP guildie action. I had no idea you could kill your guildies (or get killed, as the screenshot above illustrates).

On August 28th theXclusive celebrated its two year anniversary! I can't believe I've put up with you all for so long. To celebrate, we took a foray into Molten Core. I can't remember what we did after that, because by then I was drunk...

Saturday evening we headed back in to Gruul's, after a somewhat long hiatus. Whatever it was people were doing during the break, it seems to have worked. Once we all were clear on the pull, Maulgar went down quick, and we downed Gruul on the second go (or was it third? damn beer...). Thirsty for more blood, we ran over to Mag, only to have the server reboot. Ah well, next time! Good work to everyone on the run, it was a great night.

The core took down Halazzi, and then I got carpal tunnel, and then took the site offline for an upgrade, so... yeah. Congrats to everyone on this run! Nice work.

Okay, I'm only slightly behind in posting this, as the boss kill happened Saturday night. Congrats to the team that got him down, well done!

Alright, so this is actually old news finally making its way to the front page, since we killed Akil'zon for the first time a couple months back, and have replicated the feat since. But I've been totally remiss in posting, so there it is. Akil'zon, he's dead. We killed him.

Our first foray into Gruul's Lair proved quite successful, as we downed Maulgar and had a couple good runs on Gruul (despite those crazy pulls; *ahem Trebur, ahem Eubin*). If it weren't for the late time, and the copious amounts of daiquiries, I'm sure we would have downed Gruul as well. Congratulations to everyone involved in this run, it was great teamwork, and a great deal of fun. Look for another run on Gruul's to be scheduled in the next three weeks or so. Gruul's progression bar coming soon...

Congrats to all involved in bringing down the Bear Lord, for a guild first! Here's to our future forays into ZA, and to getting the second Kara team running!

Last night we sallied forth into ZG, starting with about 10 guildies, and finishing the run with a solid 18. We had some interesting wipes thanks to a couple over-zealous pulls (and perhaps some revenge pulls), but overall it was relaxing and entertaining, and a good way to get a larger and more inclusive guild-run together (58+ welcome). Plus, those tabards look hawt, if I do say so myself...
