Note: Common sense and courtesy should win out over any of the policies written here.

"Priority" is essentially based on "Rank"(in-game system) and "Seniority"(length of time in the guild)...the higher the rank, the higher the priority.
If two or more members share the same Rank then Priority will generally go to the Senior member. It should also be noted that the "Common Sense Rule" should come into play over strict policy. Which is to say, if Member A and Member B share Rank, Priority should go to the person who the loot will benefit most.
Loot distribution generally falls to tanks, healers and then DPS.
Rolls occur when a clear cut decision in not obvious. That is to say, not obvious to the Officers.

Does this mean that Officers get geared up long before lower ranks even see a piece of gear?
No.

Once a member receives a piece, they drop below (what i like to call) "the Deck".
The people above the Deck maintain their Priority, while the people below the Deck create a new Priority list (once again based on Rank and Seniority).
Each time a member receives an item they drop to the next Deck below them. This means the top of the list would be the First Priority list, while the members below the Deck form the Second Priority list and the members who get loot in the Second Priority list drop down to a Third Priority list.
With a guild our size it is not likely Priority lists below the Third Deck would occur.

This is not an exact science! It is not necessary to track deck after deck but rather remember who were the last few members to get loot and ensure that they don't continue to take priority over others who have been waiting.

Side Note:
Gear that no one can use will be disenchanted and the resulting materials given to the guild bank.
BOE greens also generally fall into this category, but if you see an item that would be an upgrade feel free to whisper the master looter.

Important!:
Loot distribution is ultimately left up to the discretion of all the Officers online at the time.
The Loot Master will make his/her recommendations at which time Officers are encouraged to make suggestions.
Majority opinion rules and the Loot Master breaks any ties (tho we have never had any conflicts of this type in the past).

It should also be noted that it is possible and likely for a piece of loot to be given to a member solely because it is "for the good of the guild". For example, in the case of new members (where their continued membership is in question) the possibility exists that they would be passed over for a piece, that instead might go to a main tank (for example), even if said tank just received loot.

This is a guide for the general idea of our loot distribution. It is not written in stone. people pass on things or just don't need it as much as another may. We have a very non greedy guild and our people love getting that warm fuzzy feeling that comes with giving loot to others.
